Wanted to send you this message personally, a week after our primary, to explain what our race looks like now that Kari Lake is officially our opponent.

The pundits and the pollsters all agree that Arizona is one of the most competitive states in the country. With that primary behind us, everybody’s watching our race to see if we can hold up and win out here or if Kari Lake is going to take this seat out from under us.

With more attention comes more money. Kari Lake has the entire MAGA-right to call on, but she also has Q Anon wackos, Trump loyalists, establishment Republicans, and billionaires from coast to coast behind her. All chipping in to send her to the Senate. Outside groups are starting to spend big out in, too. If you turn on a TV in Arizona you can hardly miss the advertisements these days.

To top it off, she’s got Trump in her corner. His full support, his full endorsement. So we can expect to hear more from Trump in Arizona — more rallies, more attacks, all directed at me. He knows he’s got to win Arizona to take back the White House, so everything Trump can muster is headed our way.

I know we’ve sent a lot of emails your way recently, but I can’t start this general election off on the wrong foot. We’ve started tracking our daily fundraising goals, and I’ve got to raise at least $145,000 dollars today if we’re going to stay on course.

That sounds like a lot — and it is. But that’s no arbitrary goal. It’s what we need to raise to win. So, please:

Make a donation of $5 or more to my campaign for U.S. Senate. We have to use every single day the best we can now that we’ve entered the general election, and that means hitting these goals. I’m depending on you.
