We The People Need to Vote

Vote ROW B - AUGUST 13 - This is the Rocky Moment on the Road to November

Fellow Republicans and Friends,

Pledge your support

Early Voting for the Republican Primary started yesterday. We’ve been out on the Campaign trail for the past few months and now it is time to take action at the ballot box. I need your support so please get out and vote. We are one week away from the Main Event.

We have been identifying and posing solutions to issues facing the citizens of this district and will continue to do so. We have been looking at federal solutions to local problems that you and I face living in the Constitution State of Connecticut. We have also looked at world issues and issues that need to be addressed in Congress.

We’ve been out there: knocking doors, talking to people at Garbage dumps, talking to you, marching in parades, talking to our youth, talking to communities that have been ignored and also talking to people in the supermarkets about their pocketbook issues. We have a pretty good feeling of the pulse of this State and This Country.

Here are some of the issues that matter to Every Day Americans, which was a focal point of the RNC just a few weeks ago. This is not exhaustive. It also highlighted the growing Latino Vote and we have seen first hand at the Puerto Rican Day Parade where we marched that we are winning the hearts and minds of voters who have strong family values that are being ignored. (See Article on the Hispanic Tide is Turning Red)

Connecticut has a border crisis. The inflation caused by immigration and bad economic policy is affecting everyone. The fentanyl and trafficking making its way to our backyard must stop. At the grocery stores, many people are waiting to shop on sale days and many are shopping at multiple supermarkets to take advantages of different sales. The sales price of groceries today were the regular prices under the Trump administration.

While Connecticut and it’s Attorney General Tong keep attempting to expand their reach claiming that there’s price gouging in our supermarkets, we have talked with independent supermarket owners that operate on typically less than a 2% profit margin and high volume. They are struggling due to high energy costs, supply chain issues, and theft. Connecticut separately has its own problem with theft of EBT snap cards and has to replace them so it’s literally spending 2 times for the same person. Crime is rampant and our police need to be supported and this mantra of Crime Pays Under Biden and Himes needs to be reversed.

Education - Parents want to be able to send their children where they want and we have been advocating for school choice. When we marched the Puerto Rican Day parade, so many parents expressed the challenges of working two or three jobs to be in a position to send their children to private or parochial schools because Bridgeport ranks at the bottom of the school districts of 161 out of about 165. (See our article on Your Child, Your Choice.)

Housing is another major issue and not just 8-30g. Rents keep going up and the supply of housing is an issue in some parts of our district. Pricing is going up for inflationary reasons as cost of home heating is up. Cost of electricity is up. Cost of insurance is up. Hartford keeps jamming 8–30g down our throats. This mandate does not solve the real problem, which is enough affordable ownership of housing. Our children cannot afford to live in Fairfield County. (See our article on housing). We Need a Return to Local Control.

Your pensions and IRAs were devastated in the past week. This is due to Wall Street pricing in economic recession and the threat of global war in the Middle East with 12 US ships getting engaged in a conflict. This could have been avoided by the US simply supporting Israel with the arms that it required to fight the war for us without our troops being put at risk. Yesterday, Iraq attacked a US base and at least 5 U.S. Soldiers were injured (See Article).

Business - Companies are moving out of Connecticut. The only companies that come here are doing so because they have to. When they get here, they are stuck in traffic because I-95 doesn’t move - You can blame Himes for that one - See our article - When you Are Stuck on I-95 - Blame Himes).

This infrastructure and energy crisis is causing issues to Commercial Real Estate Concerns and we need to bring more jobs to Connecticut with new pro-business strategies including: reduced regulatory burdens, expedited zoning and permit approvals, improving the infrastructure with less congested highways and improved commuter rail service. Federal tax incentives and opportunity zones are tools that can be used to attract new businesses to our beautiful state. These are techniques being used by other states to lure away Connecticut businesses. We need to be more aggressive in both attracting and keeping businesses here. (See our Article on Addressing our Commercial Markets).

Electricity - As for electricity, our bills have gone up significantly because of the public benefit which we drew attention to several weeks ago. Now everyone is picking up on it. And you are picking up on this when you get these outrageous energy bills in the dog days of summer. Why are we paying for others to improve their houses with solar and other energy saving initiatives, which should be borne by the electric company which benefits by reduces their need to supply additional electricity. You are not obligated to help your neighbor make improvements in a classic taxation without representation.

Why should you pay other people’s bills in your energy bill? This is another form of a tax and probably questionable in its legality and most likely unconstitutional. However, the least that can be done is what I’ve proposed, which is to get a deduction on your taxes for this mandate, which is definitely what this is and make no mistake. These are now taxes being passed by non-governmental agencies, subject to governmental regulation and control. (See our article on electricity).

The Border - The border is another big issue, which is woven into many of these other issues as that has an indirect and direct effect on every aspect of our lives in Connecticut. I am all about closing the border. Most of Americans are in agreement. However, Jim Himes has been horrible on the Border and even suggested that we should bring refugees from Gaza. (See our article on Hamas and Biden/Himes)

Speaking of Israel, Biden and Himes have been terrible on Israel despite the fact Jim Himes largest donor is AIPAC. After October 7, which is now more than 300 days later, Never Again is Now (See Our Article Never Again is Now - 300+ Days Since October 7). Himes has pandered to CAIR and was silent when both President Biden and Vice President Harris snubbed Netanyahu and Israel on a very important diplomatic mission. That was their first mission since October 7. (See our Article on Biden and Harris Snub Israel) .

Following a historic speech by Netanyahu, Washington was looted. Flags were burnt by Pro Gaza Palestinian supporters, and nothing was done. There’s one thing about free speech. There’s another thing about inciting violence and desecrating government property and attacking our flag.

Veterans - We’ve also talked about how veterans have been ignored with better treatment given to illegals and the lack of good resources for veterans to treat their PTSD and other ailments following their service to this grateful nation. (See our Article on Our Veterans).

WHAT CAN YOU DO?

Now ask yourself what can you do. If any of these issues strike a nerve it is time to take action. As we have been in the words of the Doobie Brothers - Takin it To the Street, it is your turn to Take it to the Polls and Tell Your Friends. Cast your vote. It matters and you matter. So Let’s build the greatest team going into this November to take back this country and as President Trump says let’s make America Great Again.

We are out there working hard for the working people of America that have been ignored. You have recognized our efforts and as a result, we have more endorsements than any candidate running in the Primary. (See Endorsements)

Early voting is available, however, we know most of you don’t trust it. So Tuesday, August 13th, go out make your voices heard . The silent majority can no longer be silent any longer.

Thank you for your continued support and look forward to our next article as we continue to address federal issues to local problems that face every Connecticut resident. We will not be ignored any longer. It’s time to take back this state and heal our country. Put a doctor in the house and you can do that on August 13 by casting your vote for Dr. Michael Goldstein.

On August 13th,  Stand up for America and Our Future and the Future of Our Children and VOTE GOLDSTEIN ON AUGUST 13 so I can take on Jim Himes and solidify a team of Connecticut State Reps and Senators that support me and what we have been doing to build a strong bench for November’s title fight. VOTE FOR ME ON ROW B.

I would be honored by your support and tell your friends to get out and vote.

Thank you for your continued support. This is a Rocky Moment and We the People Can Do this Together.
