### **Gun Rights Activist Group Sues Over Unconstitutional Open Carry Ban In 'Pro-Gun' Florida**
After being rebuffed by the Sunshine State's Republican-led Legislature, Gun Owners Of America(GOA) filed suit in the federal district court seeking judicial intervention over what many see as an egregious affront to individual liberty - the prohibition on peacefully bearing arms in plain sight. This draconian measure flies directly into the face of American values enshrined in the Bill of Rights!
As stated explicitly in documents acquired exclusively by FoxNewsDigital, "despite its reputation as a largely gun-friendly state, Florida inexplicably continues to prohibit the peaceable carrying of firearms in an open and unconcealed manner." Furthermore, such actions constitute nothing short of "a blatant infringement of the Second Amendment right to bear arms which runs counter to this nation's historical tradition and would have criminalized the very colonists who openly carried their muskets and mustered on the greens at Lexington and Concord to fight for their independence."
Moreover, there exists overwhelming evidence pointing towards racial undertones behind the passage of these laws back in 1893 when African Americans faced selective targeting, whereas whites remained immune from prosecution!
