Hey there,

Checking in here with some good news and some bad news...

I'll start with the good news: Since I last emailed 115 more members of Team Connolly have chipped in to help us hit our monthly grassroots fundraising goal! So first, I want to give a very big THANK YOU to those supporters -- every single dollar you gave has had an immense impact on our campaign and enabled us to keep reaching voters across the district in these uncertain times. For that, we are incredibly thankful.

But here's the bad news: We're still $1,531.24 short of our April grassroots fundraising goal. [[link removed]]

Grassroots Fundraising - April 2020
Raised: $6,468.76
Goal: $8,000
Difference: -$1,531.24

That may sound like a lot, but I'm a numbers guy, so I did a few more quick calculations I'd like to share with you, and the rest of Team Connolly:

83% of those recent donors gave $25 or less.
In fact, our average online donation this month is just $20.34
That means, if just 76 people chip in our average donation of $20.34 we'll pass our monthly goal!

It's clear, small amounts add up to a BIG IMPACT! And I don't just mean the numbers. I mean big impact like Gerry fighting to protect workers, expand healthcare and unemployment coverage, and even defending the U.S. Postal Service. Big impact like Gerry pushing back against the bigotry and misinformation pouring out of the White House daily. Big impact like keeping Gerry in Congress working hard for all of us and helping elect more progressive fighters from around the nation.

So, will you donate now and help us make a BIG IMPACT? [[link removed]]

Thank you again for your support!

Hi all,

I wanted to start out by thanking you for all the support you have given us, even through the current national crisis. Thanks to you, we've managed to stay on top of our fundraising goals thus far.

Unfortunately, we're currently $4,244.63 short of where we need to be for our April fundraising.

Grassroots Fundraising - April 2020
Raised: $3,755.37
Goal: $8,000
Difference: -$4,244.63

The good news: If everyone reading this donates at least $5, we'll not only be back on track but ahead of schedule! So, can you chip in now to make sure Gerry can keep up his work in Congress? [[link removed]]

Coronavirus poses a massive threat to our lives and finding solutions to the daily disruptions it's causing around the nation is no easy battle. But Gerry is not backing down from the fight. He's working hard to protect workers, expand healthcare and unemployment coverage, and even defending the U.S. Postal Service. Every day, Gerry's pushing back on the misinformation coming out of the White House and making up for Trump's lack of leadership.

It's clear, you can count on Gerry to fight for you and create impactful solutions for the 11th District and the nation. Can Gerry count on you to keep our campaign's fundraising strong? Contribute now to make sure Gerry can keep working hard in Congress for all of us. [[link removed]]
