Rep. Jamie Raskin (D-MD) Plans to Disqualify Trump From Office if He Wins Election
PJ Media: This should not come as news, nor should it be particularly surprising. We all know how desperate the Democrats are to prevent former President Donald Trump from returning to the White House and to get him out if he does. We now have footage of Representative Jamie Raskin (D-MD) explaining how Dems will cite Section 3 of the 14th Amendment to justify Trump’s removal, fully accepting that it could lead to a civil war (PJ Media). End Wokeness: Congressman Jamie Raskin says EVEN IF TRUMP WINS they will disqualify him on January 6th, 2025 under 14A (X). Merissa Hansen: Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment prohibits former government officials from holding public office again if they have “engaged in insurrection or rebellion” against the United States government (X). Breitbart: Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment was adopted after the Civil War to bar former Confederates from holding federal office. Trump-haters on both the left and the right tried to argue that Trump had committed “insurrection” under the language of that section, and therefore was barred from running for president again. Several Democratic states excluded Trump from primary election ballots until the Supreme Court — unanimously — ruled against them in March, holding that Congress is responsible for enforcing Section 3 of the Fourteenth Amendment, and not the states (Breitbart).

Nasdaq Falls 1,000 Points in a Single Day

Raws Alerts: Over $1.93 trillion has been wiped out from the US stock market so far today as the Nasdaq has dropped over 1,000 points (X). RNC Research: “We have never been down 1,000+ points — EVER, not even intraday — on the Nasdaq” (X).

Parents Prioritize School Supplies for Their Children Over Household Necessities
Fox Business: Purchasing school supplies is taking its toll on parents who admit to sacrificing buying necessities to ensure their children have what they need for the year. It’s a sacrifice no parent wants to make. Yet, a recent study by Intuit Credit Karma revealed that 50% of parents surveyed plan to do just that. They are trading up groceries and paying bills in order to ensure their children are covered for the school year, according to the report. It’s even worse for younger parents. According to the survey, 60% and 56% Gen Z and millennial parents, respectively, are also prioritizing back-to-school supplies over those necessities too (Fox Business). RNC Research: That’s an everyday reality in Kamala’s economy (X). Guy Benson: Does Kamala Harris agree with Joe Biden that their policies “cured the economy” (X)?

Nine Fired From UNRWA for Aiding Hamas in October 7 Attack on Israel
NBC: Nine staff members who worked for the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees may have been involved in the Oct. 7 attack on Israel, according to a now-completed investigation conducted by The Office of Internal Oversight Services (OIOS). The Oct. 7 attack launched by Hamas on Israel left 1,200 dead and around 240 people taken hostage, according to Israeli tallies. Since then, Israel declared war on Hamas and has killed over 40,000 people in Gaza, according to officials there. In January, Israel alleged that at least 12 UNRWA staffers were involved in the Oct. 7 attack, leading many nations to pause funding to the aid organization, including the US (NBC). Legislative Director for Sen. Ted Cruz  Omri Ceren: UNRWA has known for literally decades that they pay salaries and provide resources to Hamas terrorists. The head of UNRWA said in 2004 he didn’t consider it a problem. Trump cut off funding to UNRWA. Biden-Harris restored it to the tune of $100s of millions of US taxpayer funds (X). Katie Pavlich: After a brief pause in UNWRA funding after the October 7 attacks, Secretary of State Antony Blinken resumed the flow of U.S. tax dollars to the terror infested agency earlier this year (Townhall).

Former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle Pushed to Destroy Evidence When Cocaine was Found in White House
Real Clear Politics: Former Secret Service Director Kimberly Cheatle and others in top agency leadership positions wanted to destroy the cocaine discovered in the White House last summer, but the Secret Service Forensics Services Division and the Uniformed Division stood firm and rejected the push to dispose of the evidence, according to three sources in the Secret Service community. Multiple heated confrontations and disagreements over how best to handle the cocaine ensued after a Secret Services Uniformed Division officer found the bag on July 2, 2023, a quiet Sunday while President Biden and his family were at Camp David in Maryland, the sources said. At least one Uniformed Division officer was initially assigned to investigate the cocaine incident. But after he told his supervisors, including Cheatle and Acting Secret Service Director Ron Rowe, who was deputy director at the time, that he wanted to follow a certain crime-scene investigative protocol, he was taken off the case (Real Clear Politics). Collin Rugg: Cheatle should be in prison (X).

United States Withdraws From Final Air Base in Niger
Washington Examiner: The Department of Defense announced on Monday it has withdrawn from its last military base in the African country of Niger. The DOD said the “withdrawal of U.S. forces and assets from Air Base 201 in Agadez is complete” in a joint statement with Niger’s defense ministry… The two sides have set a deadline of Sept. 15 for the complete withdrawal. The U.S.-Nigerien military relationship was complicated by last year’s military coup and the junta’s rise to power. The U.S. spent more than $100 million to build Air Base 201 and finished it five years ago. The base had been key for the military’s counterterrorism efforts in Africa, and U.S. officials have pursued other options for continuing those missions without a Nigerien presence. Niger is among a group of several African countries to experience military coups in recent years, some of which have led those nations to sever ties with the U.S. Gabon, Niger, and Sudan have experienced military uprisings, while other military leaders have seized power in Mali, Guinea, Burkina Faso, and Chad in recent years. The U.S. withdrawal also comes amid a surge in terrorism in the continent. Sahel region’s share of global terrorist-related deaths rose dramatically from 2007 to 2022, in which the percentage increased from 1% to 43% (Washington Examiner).

Judge Rules Google Violated Antitrust Laws Through Search Engine
Daily Signal: Google took a massive hit Monday after a federal judge ruled the company violated U.S. antitrust law through its search business, according to a court filing. U.S. District Judge Amit P. Mehta submitted the ruling, rebuking one of Google’s oldest businesses that the company has spent billions on through exclusive contracts in order to obtain a dominant position within the tech industry, according to CNN. Mehta stated Google not only acted as a “monopolist,” but abused a “monopoly” through its search business to be the automatic search engine for browsers such as Apple’s Safari and Mozilla’s Firefox… Over the years, Google has reportedly spent billions to keep its automatic search engine on specific browsers, paying Apple roughly $18 billion in 2021 to be the default search engine, The New York Times reported (Daily Signal). Townhall: Mehta will now decide if Google will be forced to change the way it operates or if it will sell off parts of its business. Multiple outlets noted that this is the biggest tech antitrust case since the U.S. government’s lawsuit with Microsoft over 20 years ago (Townhall).

Bangladesh’s Prime Minister Resigns, Flees Country Amid Civil Unrest
Bloomberg: The head of Bangladesh’s army said he would help to form an interim government after Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina was forced from office following a wave of protests over the weekend that left more than 100 people dead. With anti-government protesters converging on the capital Dhaka in defiance of a curfew, Bangladeshi media reported that Hasina had fled the country. TV images showed people ransacking her official residence. The South Asian country has been on edge since late June, when student leaders took to the streets demanding an end to a system of government job quotas… The government reserved as much as 30% of jobs in the Bangladesh Civil Service for family members of war heroes who fought for independence from Pakistan in 1971. Protest leaders said the quotas have excluded new job seekers and have been used to reward supporters of Hasina (Bloomberg). Associated Press: Crowds also ransacked Hasina’s family’s ancestral home-turned-museum where her father, Sheikh Mujibur Rahman — the country’s first president and independence leader — was assassinated. They torched major offices of the ruling party and the country’s two leading, pro-government TV stations — both of which were forced to go off air (Associated Press).
