As a delegate to the Democratic National Convention, I had the distinct honor of casting my nominating ballot for Vice President Kamala Harris to be the Democratic nominee for President of the United States.
I’m thrilled to support Kamala for President, and it was so exciting to be a part of our party’s virtual roll call ahead of what I know will be a wonderful convention in Chicago, when Vice President Harris will officially accept the nomination.
Kamala Harris is my friend. We served in the Senate together and worked on important issues, from pandemic relief and voting rights to maternal mortality and access to contraception. It’s been fantastic to see her serve so well as VP and inspiring to watch her represent our party with energy and strength as we work for victory in November.
