Dear Friend,
North Texas is my home, and I’ve been hard at work this year making sure Congress delivers for North Texas families. Since my first year in Congress, I’ve held myself accountable to you. Every six months I deliver a report detailing my work for North Texans.
From getting folks the federal benefits they are owed to making sure investments from the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law and CHIPS Act make it to Texas – I am proud to have delivered for Texans these past six months.
The report covers my work for North Texas on the Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and Foreign Affairs Committee. It also highlights our constituent services as well as my work to lower costs, bolster Texas’s infrastructure and create jobs.
2024 Midyear Report Highlights:
- Over $50 million in federal benefits and money returned to North Texans
- 475 cases closed helping North Texans with federal agencies
- Responded to more than 18,400 constituent letters
- 566 bills cosponsored in the 118th Congress, 75% are bipartisan
- Over $91 million for Texas airports to modernize terminals
- Helped secure $250 million for Texas Solar For All Coalition to support workforce training and support minority and women-owned businesses
- $80 million for Southern Gateway Park and other park projects to reconnect communities
- Delivered over $16 million for 15 community projects including Dallas Police, DFW Airport and UTD
