John:

We’re thrilled to announce the Care Can’t Wait Bus Tour, kicking off THIS MONTH!

From August 26-31, NDWA and our Care Can't Wait partners are traveling across the country, visiting diverse communities to learn, share, and inspire action around care.

Why is this tour important?

Care is the backbone of our communities, supporting families, children, seniors, and those with disabilities. Yet, care workers and caregivers often go unnoticed and unsupported . This tour is our chance to change that, to share their stories, and to push for the policies they need.

What’s happening on the tour?

Our route will take us through rural towns, vibrant cities, and key spots in the Midwest, East, and South. We’ll be joined by elected officials, local influencers, care advocates, and caregiving families. Together, we’ll host:

👉🏾 Rallies to energize and mobilize communities
👉🏾 Care Conversations to share personal stories and insights
👉🏾 Care Fairs offering resources and support for caregivers

How can you get involved?

Join Our Care Challenge. [[link removed]] The Care Can’t Wait Challenge is a fun and interactive campaign with meaningful actions to support caregivers and push for better care policies. In August, you’ll receive three prompts to take a specific action. Complete the prompts, share your progress, and you could win prizes! Sign up now to play!

Thank you for being a dedicated supporter of the National Domestic Workers Alliance!

The majority of domestic workers sit at the center of some of our nation’s most decisive issues because of who they are and what they do: they are women – mostly women of color, immigrants, mothers, and low-wage workers. They are impacted by almost every policy affecting the future of our economy, democracy and country.

Domestic workers can lead us toward a new, inclusive vision for the future for all of us -- and your grassroots support is the fuel that can get us there.
