Friends, the latest jobs report is a blistering wake-up call, sounding alarms about an impending recession, looming layoffs, and prices that remain sky-high! We have the worst jobs report in the past 3 1/2 years. Unsurprisingly, it’s the unskilled workers—those with less than a high school diploma and high school graduates without a college degree—who are bearing the brunt of this economic disaster.
The Biden-Harris administration has been shamelessly misleading Americans about the state of the job market, particularly for unskilled workers. Millions of unskilled illegal immigrants, granted work permissions by this administration, are directly competing with and displacing American workers. In just the first year of their term, nearly 1 million American jobs were stolen by illegal workers.
Meanwhile, the Biden-Harris administration’s relentless attack on the fossil fuel industry has obliterated our energy independence and driven up energy costs to levels that were unheard of under the Trump administration. The fossil fuel sector alone witnessed a staggering loss of 29,271 jobs in 2021. This includes a 6.4% drop in petroleum jobs (31,593 jobs lost), an 11.8% decrease in coal jobs (7,125 jobs lost), and a 12% reduction in fossil fuel extraction jobs. These jobs continue to decline in the most recent jobs report.
Their aggressive climate agenda, which included canceling the Keystone XL pipeline, imposing restrictions on oil and gas lease sales on public lands, and tightening environmental regulations, has crippled the industry. While these policies were intended to combat climate change, they’ve also fueled job losses and driven up costs for every American.
Under a new Trump administration, we are promised sweeping reforms: mass deportations and an immediate overhaul of energy policies that will generate hundreds of thousands of jobs within the first 90 to 120 days.
It’s time to stand up for American workers! The Biden-Harris administration’s tax-and-spend policies are wreaking havoc on our economy and devastating the quality of life for our most vulnerable low and middle-class families. The administration’s scapegoating of climate issues and the previous administration only masks the real culprits—Democratic policy failures that are crushing America.
We’re fed up with being dragged down by these disastrous decisions. It’s time to demand accountability and a reversal of these harmful policies. Enough is enough!
