The Puget Sound Partnership Leadership Council will meet on Wednesday, August 7, from 1:00 p.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Meeting highlights include:
- A presentation and decision about the 2025-27 Puget Sound Acquisition and Restoration (PSAR) program Large Capital Projects ranked list. The PSAR program provides fundamental support to salmon recovery in Puget Sound by implementing regionally significant habitat protection and restoration priorities.
The Leadership Council will consider whether to approve the 2025-27 PSAR Program Large Capital Projects ranked list as recommended by the Salmon Recovery Council and resulting from the scoring process. They will also consider strategies for funding the PSAR program and ranked list. Presentation by Marlies Wierenga, PSAR program manager at the Puget Sound Partnership.

The Leadership Council is the governing body of the Puget Sound Partnership. Its seven members are leading citizens chosen from around the Sound and appointed by the Governor to serve four-year terms. Dennis McLerran currently chairs the Leadership Council.
