Assault weapons are the number one choice firearm for mass shooters. They are designed to kill as many people as possible, as quickly as possible and it’s long past time to ban them. Vice President Kamala Harris is talking about banning these deadly weapons from day one. Kamala Harris is that champion. During her very first campaign rally, Harris said,

Harris will be a president who will continue a legacy for change that the American people desperately need.

The gun lobby is scared, John. This is a president who will fight against their deadly agenda, rather than blindly follow it. This is a president who will change our country for the better and create a safer future for our children, for all of us.

The majority of Americans want change. The majority of Americans support universal background checks. The majority of Americans support an assault weapons ban. We need a president who will fight for what the majority of Americans want and to save lives from gun violence.
