This August, several Democrats in critical battleground races will learn who they’re up against in their primary elections. Here’s a snapshot of we’re watching out for this month:

• Reps. Sharice Davids, Elissa Slotkin, and Marie Glusenkamp Perez have their primary TOMORROW — and once the GOP learns of their official Republican opponents, they’ll spend even more to defeat them.
• Next Tuesday, Sen. Tammy Baldwin’s far-right opponent Eric Hovde will likely become her official GOP opponent — and his official nomination could break their tie in the polls, putting him in the lead for the first time in Wisconsin’s Senate race.
• On the 20th, Rep. Mary Peltola will find out who she’s up against for Alaska’s only seat in the House, which is currently a toss-up.

We can’t afford to let even one of these vulnerable Democrats fall behind their Republican opponents — especially when we have a House to flip and a Senate to secure.
