The coronavirus pandemic has without a doubt changed the daily lives and plans of all Americans. As soon as the coronavirus is contained, I look forward to continuing my annual 99-county meetings.

As Iowans continue to work together to slow the spread of COVID-19, I accepted the Test Iowa Challenge from Governor Reynolds. Check out more about our efforts to expand testing for Iowa, take the assessment and challenge your friends to do the same. 

The nationwide efforts to “flatten the curve” and save lives have delivered a financial setback to the renewable fuels industry and to Iowa farmers who were already battling Big Oil for a level playing field. Read more in my op-ed with Iowa's Secretary of Agriculture Mike Naig here.

After two weeks of delay, Democrats finally came to their senses and allowed us to restart the Paycheck Protection Program. This program has already benefited countless Iowans and I know that it will continue to be a lifeline to small businesses during this uncertain time.
