Dear John, tickets are on sale now for "Jimmy Carter 100: A Celebration in Song."

The Carter Center logo
President Carter has always loved music in all its variety. The Allman Brothers and other acts famously supported his underdog campaign in 1976, and the White House frequently hosted concerts, recitals, and shows during his presidency.

Oct. 1 marks President Carter's 100th birthday, and The Carter Center is going all out to celebrate it with a star-studded concert at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 17 at Atlanta's iconic Fox Theatre.
"Jimmy Carter 100: A Celebration in Song" will feature renowned artists from pop, rock, gospel, country, jazz, classical, and hip-hop. Acts set to perform include Chuck Leavell, D-Nice, Drive-By Truckers, Eric Church, GROUPLOVE, Maren Morris, The War And Treaty, and The Atlanta Symphony Orchestra Chamber Chorus. Emmy award winner Rickey Minor will be the show's musical director. The event will also feature appearances by such celebrity guests as Dale Murphy, Killer Mike, and Sean Penn.

Don't miss your chance to take in this once-in-a-lifetime musical event to celebrate the life and legacy of our rock 'n' roll (and every other genre) president!
