I want to say thank you, John — and share some exciting news:

Last Wednesday night, over 2,100 attendees across Connecticut joined our Connecticut Women for Harris call to get involved in this election.

You donated, signed up to volunteer, and channeled your enthusiasm to help defend this seat in CT-05 — a top five target for Republicans this November.

It is a testament to the movement that Vice President Harris and Democrats are building all over this country that so many women would show up on short notice with the belief that you can make a positive difference in this election.

Together, we will elect our first woman President. We will elect advocates for you and your family to the House of Representatives, as I have represented the people of CT-05, with the Democratic majority we need to get things done.

A special thanks to Congresswoman Rosa DeLauro, Lieutenant Governor Susan Bysiewicz, Secretary of State Stephanie Thomas, and our special guests Shonda Rhimes and Samantha Bee for joining in such an inspiring discussion. I am looking forward to working with each of them to turn out the vote this year.
