I was excited to welcome U.S. Assistant Secretary of Commerce Alejandra Castillo to the Inland Empire to attend the groundbreaking of San Bernardino Community College District's new job training center.

I'm proud to have helped deliver $3 million for our community to bolster our workforce, create more good-paying jobs and strengthen our economy.
This new training center will offer a wide range of programs, such as CPR, construction, forestry, maintenance and leadership.

This investment will create opportunities for personal and professional growth for every member of our community.
I look forward to seeing the students here gain new skills, transition into a different career or take their leadership abilities to the next level.
