House District 26 represents a critical pickup opportunity for Colorado Republicans in 2024. The district encompasses Eagle, Routt, Moffat, and Rio Blanco counties: the most northwest corner of Colorado...including the communities of Steamboat Springs, Craig, Meeker, and Gypsum. This House District was thought to be a close race in 2022, but we lost the seat due to Republican infighting and a messy Republican campaign. It is time to come together to reclaim HD-26!

Meghan Lukens, the current State Representative for HD-26, sponsored SB23-001, a law that uses $5M of your tax dollars to forge public-private partnerships to build "affordable housing," making housing less affordable for you, the actual taxpayer.

Lukens voted for HB23-1143, allowing illegal aliens to become police officers. She also voted for a proclamation to urge Congress to pass an Equal Rights Amendment, a frequent talking point of radical feminists. Lukens voted for "Non-Legal Name Changes," the law that forces teachers to help transition students' genders by way of pronouns, without parental consent.

Meghan Lukens does not represent Colorado, especially not rural Colorado. We need to take back HD-26, and Nathan Butler brings common sense and conservative values back to the people of Eagle, Routt, Moffat, and Rio Blanco counties.

After serving in the military from 2009 to 2016 as a 19 Delta Cavalry Scout, which included one tour in Afghanistan and another year in Korea, Nathan was medically retired due to chronic physical injuries, and he is a 100% disabled veteran. Nathan has served as the Junior Vice Commander of VFW Post 4265, joined the School Board at Moffat County Christian Academy, and ran a successful campaign for City Council, where he has served since last year.

Nathan pledges to defend our rights and protect our liberties and livelihoods. He will also advocate for the establishment of replacement industries before phasing out coal, rolling back unnecessary regulations, and promoting the clean coal technologies that Moffat County has pioneered. Mr. Butler's campaign brings real solutions to the table, fighting for the interests of HD-26, and ensuring our community's voice is heard loudly and clearly. Together, we can tackle the challenges ahead, build a stronger economy, protect our values, and secure a brighter future for all.
