Friend,
Just over eight years ago, Donald Trump set into motion his plans that led to June 24, 2022 – the day Roe v. Wade was overturned and nearly one-third of American women lost access to safe and legal abortion.
Since that day, we have watched as reproductive rights have been taken away from us and our loved ones. We have read stories of women suffering because of this decision. And we continue to see conservative leaders and justices make decisions that further deny abortion and reproductive health services and risk the lives of women. There is no care for women’s health in the Republican Party, and women and families are suffering.

But, we have also seen unprecedented support for women’s autonomy in their reproductive health care decisions emerge. In 2022, following Roe’s reversal, six states put ballot initiatives to their voters, and abortion was protected in every single one. In 2023, one more state followed suit, and this fall, six more states will give voters the chance to protect abortion at the polls.
We’ve also seen candidates who support abortion and reproductive rights win election after election. We were able to retain seats in the House that were thought lost to Republicans because of our stance on protecting reproductive rights and freedoms. And the same happened in state houses and locally across the country.
This fall, we must do the same. We must ensure Donald Trump and his anti-abortion backers never gain access to the halls of our government again. We must keep conservative Republicans who celebrated Roe’s demise out of government. And we must take back our House and the White House by electing candidates like Vice President Kamala Harris, who support the Women’s Health Protection Act and commit to passing it next term. WE WILL NOT GO BACK [[link removed]]
There is so much on the line this fall. We cannot let ourselves, our families, and our loved ones down by letting anti-abortion extremists make decisions that should be ours.
