Drew’s tenacity and passion are just two reasons I fell in love with him. But you should know where he gets that from. His story is proof that the American Dream is still alive today!
Drew grew up in a trailer in rural Appalachia with a single mom who worked two jobs to make ends meet. His hardworking mom, the love of his grandmother, and support from his church taught him the value of hard work, the importance of family, and the strength that comes from surrounding yourself with good people.
People ask me all the time, "What did you think when Drew said he wanted to run for Congress?" I tell them that I was his biggest supporter from Day One because I know he's the best, most qualified person to tackle the issues facing our nation.
See, Drew not only has the heart, but he also has the record to prove he'll fight for accountability and transparency. And he'll fight to make it easier for working Americans to provide for their families.
Drew has spent thousands of hours poring over government budget documents to find waste, fraud, and abuse of our hard-earned tax dollars. He has saved taxpayers at least $60 billion - yes, billion with a "b" - of our money.
He also wrote parental choice legislation that gave tens of thousands of low-income and minority kids the opportunity to receive a great education.
