I’m in a bit of shock right now.
In just under 10 minutes 1,360 undocumented people submitted applications for emergency help from United We Dream’s NationalUndocuFund. We opened the applications and boom - we heard from over 1,000 more folks than we had resources to help.
Honestly, this is both exciting and heartbreaking. I’m so excited to help 300 community members right now, but my heart breaks seeing that many more undocumented folks are suffering through this COVID-19 emergency.
I’m not going to sugar coat this, we need your help. Will you donate to help undocumented people through this? Any amount will help and 100 percent of donations to the National UndocuFund will go directly to folks who need it.

Your donation will literally enable a hungry family to buy groceries and meet basic needs. Growing up undocumented myself, I know how much help this would be.
So far, we raised enough money to help 300 undocumented households with $400 each. It’s great that we will be able to help these folks but it means that we know of at least 1,000 more who need help and know that there are many more who couldn’t apply because we went so far past capacity.
Friend, Congress shut undocumented people out of government assistance even though we are some of the hardest hit communities during the COVID-19 emergency. This fund and your support is the only way many folks will be able to get any help at all.
