Join Us for our Survivor Virtual Rally
April is Sexual Assault Awareness Month and when we also observe Denim Day, the longest-running sexual violence prevention and education campaign in the U.S. As we move deeper into the uncertainties of this inconceivable crisis, we look at COVID-19’s impact on survivors of sexual assault and the organizations that serve them. For this reason, Peace Over Violence is calling for a bi-coastal gathering of survivors and allies for a survivor virtual rally in commemoration of SAAM and Denim Day.
The Official Denim Day Survivor Virtual rally ([link removed]) is Wednesday, April 29th at 2pm PST/5pm EST. This virtual event will be presented together with our partners at Denim Day NYC and hosted by Denim Day spokescouple Maya Jupiter & Aloe Blacc, featuring Denim Day founder Patti Giggans, survivor activists, and other special guests!
