In a supercharged world, with exceedingly high demands, and an ever-increasing level of social and spiritual complexity, Christian leaders need time to unplug and reflect. Periodically, it’s essential to answer the question, “Why should I stay in this work?” Missio Alliance has created the Why Stay retreat to give weary leaders time and space to rest and ask these crucial questions.
Could Why Stay be on your horizon this Fall? Check out our webpage for more information and register soon. We keep this retreat limited to just 10 people, and spaces are filling up quickly!

As missional practitioners we desire to embody a holistic witness in the places we live, work and play. We long for a fulfilling whole-life faith that makes sense to us and to the world.
Join us and our partners at the Movement Leaders Collective beginning in October for an online learning community that guides us through an examination of our internal and external practices around formation, justice, and mission as a pathway to integrated whole-life faith and embodied authentic witness.

TABLE TALKS
At Missio Alliance, our desire is not only to provide theologically-robust and culturally-relevant content and resources for the church, but also to come alongside local communities as they contextualize and implement these resources, and cultivate an imagination for holistic witness in their local settings. We believe that a great place to start is at the table.

With so many opportunities on the horizon, it can feel overwhelming to discern what to step into and what to step away from. The requests for your attention, time, and financial resources will be myriad, and it will be impossible to say yes to everything. For this month’s brave practice, we offer the following prayer.
God of endless time, resources and capacity. You know me completely; my desires, motivations, passions, and interests. Likewise, you are fully acquainted with my limitations. Unlike you, I have limited time, resources, and capacity. You are pleased when I say yes, and you are pleased when I say no. Tend to me as I look ahead at the opportunities you’ve placed at my feet. Discern with me as I determine what to say yes to, and what to say no to. Find me ever faithful to you, for the sake of your glory and your Kingdom. Amen
