August 2024 CPL Report

Defying midsummer trends from recent years, the growth in total statewide concealed pistol license numbers was greater than expected in July, increasing by 4,283 licenses after an increase of only 248 licenses the month prior. MCRGO-PAC Candidate Ratings

A reminder that tomorrow is Michigan's regular August Primary Election. Polls are open from 7 AM to 8 PM. Voters will be selecting their party's candidates for U.S. Senate, U.S. House, State House, county and local races, as well as some local ballot issues.

We published MCRGO-PAC ratings four weeks ago in the Summer 2024 edition of On Target for absentee voters and then again two weeks ago for early voters. MCRGO-PAC ratings have been updated online with late survey submissions. NRA-PVF ratings are also available online. We provide them here as a guide to help gun owners cast informed votes.

You are welcome to contact us at [email protected] with questions about the MCRGO-PAC rating for a candidate in your district. The lack of a rating for a candidate means that candidate did not return a survey.
