Democratic Party of Oregon’s Delegates to National Convention Endorse Kamala Harris for President

Portland, OR - The Democratic Party of Oregon’s delegates to the Democratic National Convention voted unanimously Wednesday to support Vice President Kamala Harris as the nominee for President.

Dr. Rosa Colquitt, Chair of the Democratic Party of Oregon, said, “We are thrilled and energized to announce that our delegation has voted to support Kamala Harris for President. We saw an immediate influx of volunteer sign ups after the news broke that President Biden was endorsing Vice President Harris, and they haven’t slowed down.”

Democrats rely heavily on their massive grassroots volunteer organization to achieve electoral success. Every year, the Democratic Party of Oregon reaches out directly to hundreds of thousands of voters to make sure they remember to cast their ballots. This year will be no different.

“Protecting reproductive freedom, voting rights, marriage equality, and our very democracy will require all of us to come together. Democrats stand firmly united in our resolve to ensure that on Inauguration Day 2025, we hear the name ‘President Kamala Harris’ announced as the 47th President of the United States!”
