An exciting new partnership on Queerty
Queerty has incorporated the intergenerational movement, community, and social platform, Native Son [[link removed]], as a new channel. Named after James Baldwin’s book, Native Son highlights a range of voices celebrating Black gay and queer men.
To honor Baldwin's 100th birthday and celebrate the launch of Native Son on Queerty with founder, Emil Wilbekin [[link removed]], we're thrilled to unveil our very first digital cover story below.

James Baldwin’s words truly resonate with me as a Black gay man in a world where I am continuously trying to find my place—and to fit in. As a child, I knew I wasn’t like the other kids in school, in my Cub Scout troop, or on the little league team in my neighborhood.
