| Hi, Patriot.
I haven't introduced myself to you in a while, and I want you to understand why I believe what I do.
I was born and raised in Houston, TX in a military family. I was honored to accept an appointment to the United States Military Academy at West Point to begin my career.
In 2004, I received my commission in the U.S. Army and graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Leadership and Management with a Field of Study in Mechanical Engineering. After West Point, I spent eight years in the Army as an Aviation Branch Officer and AH-64D Apache Longbow helicopter pilot.
I'm proud to share that my service included one combat deployment to Iraq, and two deployments to Saudi Arabia where I served as a Diplomatic Liaison Officer.
After honorably discharging as a Captain, I attended Cornell University and earned a Master of Business Administration (M.B.A.), a Master of Public Administration (M.P.A.) and a Master of Industrial and Labor Relations (M.I.L.R.).
I never believed that changing Washington would be easy, but graduating from West Point and serving in the United States Army, being deployed to combat zones, and flying Apache helicopters over Iraq has prepared me for tough fights and big challenges. I truly believe nothing is more worth fighting for than our great country and our way of life in the Houston area.
My family is everything to me. My wife Emily and I have two daughters and one son, Victoria, Olivia and Willie Parish Hunt 2nd.
As the great-great grandson of a slave, serving as a Congressman in the U.S. The House of Representatives is truly in the wildest dreams of my ancestors. It's the honor of a lifetime to serve this great country and the Great State of Texas, but I can't keep doing it without your support.
If you have just a few bucks to spare, please consider chipping in so I can keep promoting conservative values for my family and yours.
Thank you,
Wesley Hunt
