Border Angels denounces Trump’s anti-immigrant tweet. His statement to halt immigration during the pandemic is purely political, and yet another attack on immigrant communities to attempt continuing instilling fear.
Millions of immigrants are essential workers: hospital workers, farm workers, and all the workers that keep our country running. We denounce the anti-immigrant narrative and the further attempts to exacerbate family separation, especially during this time of crisis.
BORDER ANGELS STANDS WITH OUR IMMIGRANT COMMUNITIES.

We’re so happy to announce that the shelter expansion at Roca de Salvación shelter is moving along quickly!
Thanks to your continued support, we have been able to provide more room for our beloved migrant families and have even added some big beautiful windows to the space. As the bricks are laid one by one, we are reminded just how much we are all in this together, and that when people unite for a good cause, amazing feats can be accomplished.
Thank you!

Senators Want to Know if ICE Detainees Were Pepper Sprayed After Requesting Masks
By Tyche Hendricks
' But the company’s quarantine approach has raised concerns for another immigrant advocate. Attorney Dulce Garcia, executive director of the group Border Angels, said she’s been trying to post a bond for an asylum-seeker who has been approved for release but said officials told her he had to stay in his quarantined unit for 14 days, even though he’s not sick and hasn’t been tested for COVID-19.
“No one can get out of the cohort,” said Garcia. “Today we received notice that they moved someone who tested positive and had a fever last week into the cohort. Every time they put a new person in, the clock starts again. How will they ever get out?” '

Familias Reunidas Bond Program
|
|
|
Despite the growing challenges of this pandemic, Border Angels remains determined to protect and support the community we have pledged to serve. Even though we are currently unable to accept physical donations, we are always accepting monetary donations to support:
1. Our Shelter Aid Program❤️: Especially now that we are unable to receive these items, we need your help to provide funds for groceries, hygiene products, utility bills, rent, clothes, etc.!
2. Familias Reunidas Bond Program👨👩👧: Given the severity of this outbreak, we NEED to get as many people out of the Otay Mesa Detention Center as we can. With your help we can post bond for more individuals! (Link in highlights under Bond Program)
3. Water Drop Program💧: Even after having to postpone public water drops, our team is still constantly in the desert scouting and dropping the supplies necessary for survival. Their work never stops, because the need never stops.
Thank you for your continued support.🖤🦋
