On Wednesday, I joined President Donald J. Trump in Harrisburg for his first campaign rally in the Commonwealth since the horrific assassination attempt in Butler just a few short weeks ago that injured the president and supporters and tragically took the life of a hero, Corey Comparatore.

President Trump was greeted by an entire arena with thousands waiting outside. It was a massive turnout, and the President did not disappoint. With the Democrat hierarchy forcing Joe Biden out of the race and disenfranchising millions of voters, the focus of the race now is centered on Kamala Harris. Harris’ views are not just radically liberal; they are dangerous to Pennsylvania.

Pennsylvania is the second largest producer of natural gas in the country, with the industry directly supporting 123,000 jobs in the Commonwealth and generating $41 billion in economic activity. Yet Kamala Harris wants to kill the natural gas industry, putting her Green New Deal ideology above the needs of Pennsylvanians and all Americans. She is left of Bernie Sanders on the Green New Deal and is only now claiming to reverse her positions in a sad attempt to hide her real beliefs. There is a lot of news surrounding Harris' choice for a vice presidential nominee, and much is focused on whether she will choose Pennsylvania Governor Josh Shapiro. If Governor Shapiro joins the Harris ticket, he will be fully owning the most radical and dangerously liberal agenda of any presidential candidate in history. He will have to own Harris’ open border policies, he’ll have to own banning fracking in Pennsylvania, he’ll have to own DEI initiatives in the military, and he’ll have to own Harris’ weak-on-crime ideology, which includes bailing violent criminals out of jail. I recently called on Senate leaders to take up H.R.7024, the Tax Relief for American Families and Workers Act, and am pleased they will do so later today. This important piece of legislation would provide relief to millions of American small businesses by restoring 100% bonus depreciation, immediate R&D expensing, and interest deductibility. These provisions, many implemented through the Trump Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, have served as a lifeline to entrepreneurs, allowing them to grow their businesses, create jobs, and innovate. I urge all Senators to support Main Street America and pass this pro-growth initiative.



Let’s celebrate two exceptional athletes from the 9th Congressional District participating in the Paris 2024 Olympics! Karlie Kisha from Hamburg, PA, is competing on the USA Women’s Field Hockey team, while Zain Retherford from Benton, PA, is competing in Men’s Wrestling.

If elected, Kamala Harris would govern from the fringes of the left because that's who she is (in her own words!).

While the left has been ironically throwing around the word "weird," the reality is that Kamala's agenda is WHACKY!

When Kamala tells us she is weak, failed, and dangerously liberal, we should believe her.

Earlier this week, I enjoyed attending the Schuylkill County Fair! Fair President Paul Kennedy gave us a great tour, introducing us to the Schuylkill County Fair Princesses and Queen, the PA Honey Queen from Lycoming County, and the PA Dairy Princesses and Queen.


While at the fair, I ran into PA State Representatives Jamie Barton, Tim Twardzik, and Joanne Stehr as I explored the agriculture exhibits and engaged with local constituents. I also appreciated connecting with members of Schuylkill County’s chapter of the Sportsman Association. Finally, no trip to the fair would be complete without stopping by the Schuylkill County GOP booth. I want to thank all of them for their continued efforts on behalf of President Trump, myself and the entire GOP ticket.











On Thursday, I was in Tunkhannock to join the Wyoming County Republican Committee for two great events with our amazing GOP statewide row office team, including State Treasurer Stacy Garrity, Treasurer Tim DeFoor, and our Attorney General candidate Dave Sunday. The first was coffee with the candidates at the Yearbook Diner, followed by pizza with the candidates at the one and only Triton Hose Company. Thank you to Chairman Davis Haire and the rest of the Wyoming County Committee for putting together some excellent events.








I attended the Northeast Leadership golf outing on Friday at Blue Ridge Trail Golf Club. This event brought together many great leaders from across northeastern Pennsylvania. Most importantly, as we do this golf tournament, we remember our friend and mentor, Pat Solano.





Yesterday, I hosted a team picnic at Knoebels Amusement Park. We had a great turnout, and I’m very thankful to all who attended. There are many people to thank, but my gratefulness goes to Dick Knoebel and his sons Rick and Brian (pictured below), as well as the police officers from across Columbia, Montour, and Northumberland counties who kept the event safe. Pennsylvania has some great theme parks and attractions, but Knoebels is a gem. It is such a great family park, and I would encourage all of you to take your family there for a visit. We had a great turnout and a fun family day; all our 12 counties plus others were represented. Our Constituent Appreciation Picnic will now be an annual summer event, so look for it next year.
