Hi John,

It’s become all too commonplace in our politics these days to pretend that there’s no Democrats left in rural America, and that we should just write off vast swaths of the country as “unwinnable.” That’s simply not true — while many rural areas undoubtedly lean towards Republicans, many of these congressional districts are a lot closer than you might think. I’m a rural Democrat who can win, because I’ve spent my entire career in public service right here in rural Arizona. I know what it takes to build common ground across lines of difference, and I’ve talked to countless folks throughout this vast district who are ready to turn the page on my grandstanding extreme opponent.

Can you chip in a few bucks today to help my campaign reach the voters we need to win? [link removed]

The incumbent, extreme MAGA Republican Eli Crane, is one of those “weird” Republicans you may have heard about in the news lately. Congressman Crane’s interests include dressing up like Donald Trump outside of various courtrooms and going on the craziest right-wing podcasts you can imagine, but he hasn’t actually accomplished anything for his district. There’s a lot of folks throughout rural Arizona who are ready for a change: this seat represents a real pickup opportunity for Democrats as we look to flip the House this November.

Please I'm honored and humbled by anything you can donate to my campaign -- thank you so much. [link removed]

All the best,

Jonathan Nez
