With everything that's happened in America and Israel in the last few weeks, we need to pray now more than ever. In these troubling times, God's people must join together and lift up the nation and the world – trusting His plans will be accomplished.
King Solomon had just finished building the temple in Jerusalem – where God would dwell among His people. God appeared to King Solomon and told how the people could remain in relationship with Him:
If my people who are called by my name humble themselves, and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and heal their land. (2 Chronicles 7:14)
We must turn from evil, seek God's face, and plead for Him to heal our nation. He is the only one who can bring peace to America, Israel, and the world. Let us all heed the call to prayer.
