Meanwhile, chaotic press conferences, distracting tweets, and flat-out lies can’t change the fact that Trump has ignored experts, downplayed warnings, and delayed the response to COVID-19.
But if you’re in a rush -- let me cut to the chase: Californians have done critical work to fight the coronavirus, but there’s a lot more we can and must do.

Democrats, it’s hard to overstate the disparity between Governor Newsom and Trump’s response to this virus.
While Governor Newsom worked in concert with governors, ensuring that heavily impacted states have critically-needed resources, the Trump administration has failed to respond to this crisis across the board.
