Trump's administration is putting fossil fuel profits ahead of your clean water.

The EPA is Attacking the Clean Water Act

John,

On Friday, EPA Administrator Andrew Wheeler signed a new rollback of Clean Water Act protections. His goal: to stop states from being able to protect their waterways and communities from fossil fuel pollution and climate change.

This is absurd — the safety of our water should not be considered secondary to the profits of the fossil fuel industry! That’s why we’re doing everything in our power to fight back.

Chip in right now to fight for clean water.

The Clean Water Act sets a strong, simple standard that polluting into our public waterways is illegal. But the Trump administration has time-and-again attacked our fundamental environmental protections, including the Clean Water Act, putting the interests of dirty energy before the safety of your air, water and the future of the planet.

Food & Water Watch will pursue all available tools — legal, legislative and otherwise — to ensure that states maintain the power to reject dangerous, polluting fossil fuel projects within their borders.

But how much we can do depends on you. Can you make a donation right now to fight with us?

At a time when we must turn decisively away from climate-killing fossil fuels, this attempt by the Trump administration to ease the path for new oil and gas pipelines is simply reckless and foolhardy.

Chip in Today to Fight for Clean Water

Together we can fight for these key protections to our water. And with you by our side, we won’t back down. Make a donation today.

Onward together,
