Dear John,

You’ve seen the news. The stakes are higher than ever for LGBTQ+ youth in this upcoming election. Project 2025, crafted by the extremist Heritage Foundation, threatens to dismantle public education and strip away civil rights protections.

DONATE TO PROTECT LGBTQ+ YOUTH: [link removed]

Here’s what’s at risk:
- Legal Recognition: Redefines sex as “biological sex recorded at birth,” erasing recognition of transgender people, and especially trans youth
- LGBTQ+ Civil Rights Protections: Rolls back LGBTQ+ inclusion in Title IX and eliminates federal civil rights investigations by closing the U.S. Department of Education Office for Civil Rights
- Gutted Public Education: Eliminates the U.S. Department of Education, impacting significant funding streams for schools and school staff positions, especially Title I schools. Increased reliance on vouchers to bolster private and religious schools
- Increased Censorship: Allows parents to sue schools with a higher judicial standard than victims of sex discrimination, prioritizing control of a small slice of parents over evidence-based policies.

Support GLSEN as we fight at local, state, and federal levels to protect LGBTQ+ youth from these harmful policies.

Your Action is Crucial: DONATE TO GLSEN TODAY: [link removed]

Together, we can ensure a safer, more inclusive future.
