I celebrated the day with a small business here in the 13th District, Scoop Du Jour in Chatham.

I’m proud to fight for hardworking, small business owners like the folks here at Scoop Du Jour, who help make an impact in their communities every single day.

Empowering local businesses like this has a cascading effect on our neighborhoods — they provide jobs, give back to schools and organizations, and provide services that help to bridge gaps in our communities.

I’m fighting everyday to make sure small businesses are able to thrive across the 13th District, but we’re in a tough fight against an extremely well-funded right-wing candidate. Can you pitch in $2.95 (the price of one scoop of ice cream) to help us win this race?
