Recently, however, a wave of right-wing protests encouraged by the president are putting nurses and doctors in even more danger.
One Harvard epidemiologist predicted that the rallies against social distancing will result in a “new epidemic surge” in the next month. That means healthcare workers could be pushed toward a breaking point.
We need to protect our country’s heroes from the fallout of Trump’s reckless words and dangerous actions.
