A record half of renters spend more than 30 percent of their income on housing. Although millions of Americans qualify for federal housing subsidies, the lack of funding for the Housing Trust Fund makes meeting the need for affordable housing next to impossible. On top of that, Wall Street is buying up single-family residential homes nationwide, making it harder for families and individuals to buy homes.

You might know Cori’s story – she was an unhoused mother of two living in her car. Now, she is in Congress fighting to secure housing as a human right for all.

We need bold, tenacious champions like Cori Bush to solve the housing affordability crisis.
