Join us in taking action to combat the spreading far-right violence

Dear John

We are at a critical tipping point. The recent riots and violent disorder that erupted in Southport, after Monday’s tragedy, has now spread across the country. As I write this email to you, communities in Sunderland, Liverpool, Stoke and many other cities and towns across the UK are enduring the violence and hatred of the far right.

Whipped into a frenzy by the likes of Tommy Robinson, Nigel Farage and Andrew Tate, rioters have targeted mosques, thrown bricks and bottles, burned down a Citizens Advice Bureau, and violently attacked minorities who happen to pass by. This is not the Britain we know and love.

Hate is on the march, and leaving a trail of destruction and devastation in its wake. Those determined to sow dissent and unrest are seeking to make capital from a tragic event and use it to further their own aims, while doing absolutely nothing to help the victims of the Southport attack, or their families.

John we are at a crossroads; we can either hold our communities together, or risk falling apart along racial and religious lines. We can stand together in unity, or risk losing the progress made by generations who bravely battled against prejudice, hatred, and discrimination, before us.

The situation is tense, and we cannot afford for neighbours to turn on each other. It’s time for good people to join together and take a stand. We need individuals who believe in the power of community and are willing to stand against division and intolerance.

Right now, we are putting together plans to bring hope to communities across Britain. But John, we can’t do it alone. By signing up today, you can join us in building hopeful actions in your community.

Sign the pledge to "Hold on to Hope" and take action with us today. Together, we can show that HOPE will always eclipse hate.
