John — With less than 100 days until one of the most critical elections of our lifetime for climate action, we want to share some key facts about each presidential candidate. If you’re short on time, consider chipping in right away to help JanePAC spread the word about the consequences for our climate. [[link removed]]

Donald Trump and J.D. Vance

FACT #1: J.D. Vance is a major recipient of oil and gas money. As a shareholder in these companies, Vance profits personally when oil and gas thrive. His commitment to fracking and dismissal of climate change as a non-threat make his priorities clear.

FACT #2: Donald Trump promises to “Drill, baby, drill” and vowed to shut down funding for a transition to green energy, labeling it “a Green New scam.” His vision is part of the broader and more alarming Project 2025 agenda, which aims to dismantle the Environmental Protection Agency, roll back restrictions on oil drilling, and let Republican state officials (many of whom are in the pocket of Big Oil) take over environmental regulation.

FACT #3: During his presidency, Trump rolled back a whopping 100+ environmental rules and policies, including loosening oversight of polluting industries and eroding Obama-era efforts to address the climate crisis. If his track record is any indication, re-electing Trump means skyrocketing emissions and increasingly devastating climate impacts.

Vice President Kamala Harris

FACT #1: As California's Attorney General, Kamala Harris tackled significant cases against major polluters, including initiating an investigation into Exxon Mobil for misleading the public about the dangers of the climate crisis.

FACT #2: As a U.S. Senator, Harris championed the Green New Deal, advocating for carbon neutrality by 2030. She introduced legislation for clean electric school buses, reducing lead and other contaminants in drinking water, and consistently fought for environmental justice.

FACT #3: As Vice President, she also cast the tie-breaking vote for the largest piece of climate legislation in U.S. history.

Do we want leaders who prioritize corporate profits over our planet, or do we want champions who fight for a sustainable future? Your decision in November will shape the climate future for generations to come.

Here’s the bottom line: Trump and Vance’s fossil fuel agenda would push the climate crisis to a point of no return. We need your help to elect climate champions up and down the ballot who will actively fight against this destructive agenda. Can we count on your donation today? [[link removed]]
