John — Did you know that the second closest Congressional district in 2022 was right here in California?

That’s right, CA-13 was decided by just 554 votes in 2022 and it took almost a MONTH to declare a winner.

If this district (and just 4 other razor-thin districts) had landed blue in 2022, we never would’ve had a Speaker Kevin McCarthy or Speaker Mike Johnson [!!]

That’s why we are working overtime right now to flip the necessary districts to ensure that a President Kamala Harris has a Democratic U.S. House Majority and never needs to deal with Speaker Mike Johnson and his GOP extremists. Will you pitch in a donation now?

Quite simply, this race in 2022 could not have been much closer.

CA-13 was divided almost exactly down the middle, with the final result coming down to less than 1%. It was one of the final handful of seats that decided control of the U.S. House.

That’s why our team at the California Democratic Party isn’t leaving anything open to chance. We’ve already opened a regional office in CA-13 and are holding numerous volunteer events to knock on doors, make phone calls, and reach undecided voters.

But with more and more people tuning into the 2024 election, we need to ramp up our efforts NOW. That’s why we are aiming to raise $7,500 by midnight tonight for our Swing Seat Fund. This will ensure we can flip CA-13 blue and deliver Kamala Harris a Democratic U.S. House. Will you pitch in $35?
