Yesterday we got some great news from two states. In Florida, Jill won the Green Party primary gaining 6 more delegates, which means she has 254 of the 281 elected delegates going into the Green Party convention happening August 17th. 

We also got the fabulous news that the ballot challenge period in New Jersey has passed, which means Jill is guaranteed to be a choice for the 6.5 million voters in that state. The Democrats have outrageously been trying to knock us off the ballot in several states, and have millions of dollars to spend on frivolous lawsuits, so every state that we don’t have to fight the anti-Democratic party is a win for the campaign and a win for people who want real democracy.

This week we are turning in signatures in Maryland and Connecticut. And we are still fighting lawsuits to keep Jill on the ballot in Nevada and get on the ballot in New York. These fights are costly, but worth the price to ensure voters across the country have an anti-genocide, pro-worker, climate emergency candidate to vote for in November.
