Many of these Americans don’t have the luxury of sheltering in place because they’re working the essential jobs that keep our country running. And just as they’re serving us, our government has a responsibility to protect them in return.

Now more than ever, Americans are relying on access to affordable, high-quality healthcare. And now more than ever, Americans who are least likely to be insured are the ones who need it the most. Although the annual enrollment period for the healthcare marketplace ended in December, this administration does have the ability to create a special sign-up window for uninsured Americans to enroll in the Affordable Care Act. This would extend the opportunity for millions of Americans to get covered, and it could save countless lives.

At a time when our healthcare system is already faltering; when Americans are already struggling to make ends meet; and when the need for safe, affordable, and accessible care has never been greater, we need to put pressure on this Administration to protect ALL Americans.
