Shelton’s legendary mayor, Mark Lauretti, who specializes in not raising taxes unless he is forced to by rising health care costs, has endorsed Dr. Michael Goldstein. Mr. Lauretti knows first hand that we need a doctor who understands how health care has been rigged so that do-nothing bureaucrats, hospital administrators and insurance executives can sit at computers all day, harass doctors and patients while making huge salaries.
Goldstein now has dozens endorsements by major politicians and civic groups while his opponent has only two.
Early voting begins August 5 and in most towns, you must go to town hall to vote early. Election Day is August 13 and on this day, go to your normal voting site.
