Authored by far-right extremists like the infamous Heritage Foundation, Project 2025 is a 920-page blueprint that aims to tear down key parts of the federal government, changing the face of American democracy.
And as much as we wish it weren’t true, team, it’s a stark and dangerous reality.
We can’t kid ourselves. If Republicans succeed in November, they will move quickly to impose Project 2025 on an unsuspecting American public:
Gutting the federal civil service and replacing tens of thousands of federal employees with Trump loyalists;
Weakening the power of public agencies;
Banning abortion everywhere;
Restricting civil rights and the right to vote;
Taking away our individual freedoms;
Raising direct and indirect taxes on the middle class to give the wealthy billions;
Ending America’s defense alliances and treaties such as NATO;
It’s an agenda created to fundamentally transform democracy as we know it, team — and it’s what we’re up against at every level. We must take back the House, hold the Senate, and win the White House to keep this playbook from becoming a reality.
