What a way to close out July. I need to say thank you.

We have seen an amazing surge in grassroots support in the last two weeks, and that enabled us to hit our July fundraising goal after it looked at one point like we might not even come within sight of it.

I could not be more grateful for all the support — and the truth is, we need every bit of it if we’re going to win this race.

There’s so much hope and optimism and excitement right now. And that’s a great thing. We want to unite folks around a hopeful vision for the future.

I’ve never been a believer that politics should be all about stopping your opponents — ultimately, it’s about bringing people together and getting things done. It’s about creating a better future, filled with freedom and opportunity for everyone in our community.

But let’s be clear-eyed about this: we still have a long way to go to win. We need to put in the work to sustain this momentum — because we expect this race to be decided by a tiny margin. And one extremist super PAC after another is lining up to try to swing the race in their direction.

So, yes, a lot of hard work is still in front of us. A lot of attacks, a lot of long days, and long nights. And, to be completely honest with you, a lot of emails from my team and me asking for donations.

For now, thank you for being a part of this grassroots team, and for everything you’re doing to help us win in November. I wouldn’t be here without your support, and that’s something I will never take for granted.

And together, we’re going to win.
