It’s the hottest time of the year in countries around the world, and American Service Members are stationed in many of those places. No matter how scorching it gets, they still have to fulfill their duties, often in environments with minimal comforts like air conditioning, all while in full uniform. So, if you're preparing to send care packages or considering adopting a deployed Service Member, please take the high temperatures into account when packing! This means not only ensuring that what you send won’t melt, but also including items that can bring a bit of fun and help cool them down. Freezer pops, cooling scarves, water squirters, water balloons, and other fun summer items can provide much-needed entertainment while cooling them off from the hot sun! Check out our blog post here to learn more great tips for sending summer-proof care packages! Don't have anyone to send a care package to yet? You're in luck!
