Jack,

This is horrifying. Make no mistake: the far-right Republican leaders in Wisconsin forced voters to choose between exercising their right to vote and staying home in the middle of a stay-at-home order—even at the risk of these voters getting sick. To be sure, the GOP will try this move across the country.

We must prevent this from happening nationwide as more and more states begin to prepare for their primaries. Maggie called for an all-mail election in New Mexico, but unfortunately, the Supreme Court denied that request.

We are now focused on ensuring EVERY voter in this nation has the option to vote safely from their home.

In the meantime, if you’re able, you can support Maggie’s work as New Mexico Secretary of State and as president-elect of the National Association of Secretaries of State to make sure every person possible in this country has access to vote-by-mail and absentee voting.

Let’s do all we can to protect one another.
