John, here’s an important update on what Emerge has accomplished so far this year:

Our 2024 Seated Together program kicked off in April. Seated Together is Emerge’s first in the nation advanced candidate leadership program designed specifically for Black women who aspire to run for higher office. The program was co-founded by Emerge alums Congresswoman Emilia Sykes (OH-13) and Colorado state Rep. Leslie Herod.

Our 2024 Southern Regional Signature Training cohort graduated in May. Congratulations to our Class of 2024! The Emerge Signature Program is a unique opportunity for Democratic women who want to run for public office across the South. It is the only in-depth training program that inspires candidates to run and gives them the tools to win.

Our 2024 National Boot Camp cohort graduated in July. Emerge’s National Boot Camp is designed specifically for those who plan to run for office this year or next. We developed this program to give candidates the skills to launch their campaigns and share expertise on critical elements of campaigning.

The 2024 class consists of 28 dynamic candidates from 10 states: AR, AZ, CA, FL, GA, NJ, SC, TN, UT, and VT.
