Friends,

We voted early! It's surreal voting for yourself. Humbling. But, I believe that's what we need in politics — leaders who understand that when you're elected to office, you don't ascend above the constituency. You're humbly at their service.

I'd like to thank Michigan voters for passing nine days of early voting, our dedicated clerks offices, and all the poll workers.

It would be the honor of my life to serve you. I'm asking for your support and vote on or before Tues. Aug. 6.
