This is bad news, John.
A Texas court ruled that minority groups cannot join forces and claim that a political map was drawn to reduce their voting power. This ruling overturns over four decades of legal precedent set by the Voting Rights Act of 1965. While the decision currently only applies to Louisiana, Mississippi, and Texas, it may be appealed to the Supreme Court and spark national implications.
There have been countless attempts to restrict the voting power of minorities. This was the latest blow to our voting rights, and it won’t be the last. Our efforts to protect Latino voting power are needed more than ever — can we count on you to donate today?

Voto Latino is focused on counteracting voter suppression across the country. Earlier this year, we had major victories in Arizona where we protected access to drop-boxes and early voting ballots. As we get closer to Election Day, Voto Latino will keep fighting in courts to protect access to voting.
Will you contribute any amount now so we can keep doing this crucial work? We can’t do it without you, John. ([link removed])
