January 6th, 2021 was the first time in American history that violent insurrectionists attacked the Capitol and a joint session of Congress, in an effort to stop the peaceful transfer of power.
My work with Congresswoman Zoe Lofgren on the January 6th Committee helped to uncover evidence of this dangerous multifaceted plot, and hold Trump and these anti-democratic forces to account.
Now, extreme MAGA Republicans are doing all they can to try to stop Zoe from returning to Congress.

Donald Trump’s rhetoric is dangerous. Zoe and I have been sounding that alarm since his first campaign.
He attacks truth-tellers. Public servants. And anyone who dares to hold him to account.
He praises autocrats in other countries and has repeatedly broken down the democratic guardrails we have in place so no president can abuse their office.

Zoe’s work on the January 6th Committee was critical to unmasking the root causes of the insurrection and exposing those who used political violence on that day.
